Terms for UK customers

These terms apply to consumer purchases from Ember & Coast for delivery in the United Kingdom. We operate an online store at emberandcoast.com. For public contact details, see our contact information.

Products and availability

Read the selected product and variant details before ordering, including dimensions, contents, materials, compatibility and delivery information. Only the products available for your selected destination can be ordered. Do not assume that an electrical product, installation service or delivery option offered in another country is suitable for the UK.

Prices and payment

The UK storefront displays prices in pounds sterling. Before you pay, we will show the order total, including applicable taxes and delivery charges payable to us. Where additional charges cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the basis of those charges must be explained before you order. We do not add optional chargeable services without your consent.

Your order

Submitting an order creates an obligation to pay if we accept it. An automated receipt acknowledges your order; we accept it when we confirm dispatch, unless an earlier express acceptance is sent. We will provide an order confirmation you can keep. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund any payment for the affected goods. We will not substitute a materially different product or increase an agreed price without your agreement.

Delivery and cancellation

Our UK delivery policy explains delivery arrangements. Our UK returns and cancellation policy explains cancellation, refunds, faulty goods and the optional cancellation form. Unless a different period is agreed before ordering, delivery will take place within 30 days.

Your consumer rights

Goods must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for their stated purpose and as described. A manufacturer's warranty is additional to your rights against us. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.

These terms do not prevent you from relying on mandatory protections or bringing a claim in the courts available to you under the law of the part of the UK where you live.

Privacy and website use

Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled. Please use the website lawfully and respect the rights of other people and content owners. If we update these terms, the version supplied for your accepted order continues to apply to that order unless the law requires otherwise.
