Kenneth, co-founder
Kenneth is American, and years of touring and travelling gave him a feel for how different coastlines carry completely different moods.
From long Pacific light to smaller harbour towns and Atlantic-side weekends, he learned that coast is not one generic look. Each place has its own character, pace, weather, colours, and habits.
Cameron, co-founder
Cameron grew up around British beach days, where wind, salt air, wet sand, and the walk back from the water quickly reveal what is genuinely beach worthy.
His filter is simple: if a towel, bag, layer, or poolside piece would not make a real day outside easier, it does not earn a place in the range.
That shared point of view is what shapes Ember & Coast. A coastal product should feel chosen for a real setting, not dropped into a store because it happens to be blue, striped, or seasonal.
A towel for a windy beach morning, a bag for the boardwalk, and a cooler for a poolside afternoon should not all feel like the same generic idea.
Texture, proportion, colour, packability, and everyday usefulness decide what belongs here far more than trend labels or oversized promises.
We keep product detail grounded, avoid inflated claims, and build a calmer range that customers can understand quickly.
